From Community Voice to Informed Action
Community Resonance Foundation turns community perspectives into structured insight for effective healthcare dialogue.

Listening & Amplification
Every project begins by listening to the community in its own voice. Individuals share their experiences through a semi‑structured interview and a recorded Rare Awareness Radio conversation. The interviews explore domains relevant to healthcare decision‑making, while the podcast sessions offer space for open narrative reflection. Publishing these conversations amplifies community voice and keeps lived experience visible in public dialogue, creating a rich narrative record of community experience.
Discovery & Synthesis
Community insight becomes clearer when conversations are examined collectively. Interview transcripts are first shaped into narrative articles within ENCORES, placing each individual’s perspective in context. The full set of transcripts is then analyzed using qualitative thematic methods, allowing connections to emerge inductively. This process reveals the shared experiences, tensions, and priorities that appear across the community’s conversations.

Translation & Resonance
Insight becomes impactful when it resonates with the people who shape care, research, coverage, and policy. In this stage, the interview data is examined through the perspectives of different healthcare stakeholders, identifying the elements of community experience most relevant to their decision contexts. The aim is not to reinterpret lived experience, but to translate it into forms each audience can clearly understand and act on—carrying community knowledge into broader healthcare dialogue while keeping it rooted in the voices that shared it.
Reflection & Refinement
As insights are shared with healthcare stakeholders, their responses reveal where community perspectives align—and where gaps or misunderstandings remain. Examining these points of resonance and dissonance guides further inquiry and continued engagement. Through this cycle of reflection and refinement, the work stays responsive to community experience and the evolving landscape of healthcare decision‑making.

The Resonance Approach
When communities and decision-makers share a clearer understanding of lived experience, conversations about care, research, and policy become more aligned with the realities patients and families face. By combining community voice, systematic analysis, and audience-specific translation, Community Resonance Foundation helps ensure that lived experience is not only heard, but meaningfully integrated into healthcare conversations and decisions.
